Lately!!!

Life is fantastic! I am DONE with my finals and my first year of college, it is quite scary to think that, but it is a relief. It was getting a little overwhelming with all of the FFA stuff I was doing. But lets back track through the last couple of weeks..... The best thing I could have done with my sister, the FFA scrapbook, we spent a whole weekend together scrapbooking and talking; we even stayed up for a full 48 hours to finish it, it is almost done, just a few more pages of the stuff that has been going on now.
I did a bunch of corsages and boutonniere's for people for Prom, I think they turned out great and everyone enjoyed them :) Even though I got really sick with who knows what, I still went to California's convention, thank goodness for Jared because I got super sick and he came to my rescue. But we did successfully do our workshops and bring greetings to the whole convention before I got super sick. Randa, national officer, the western region vice president, visited Arizona for a couple days, she was so sweet and I loved talking to her, she taught me to stay true to myself no matter what the situation is even if it is running for national office, which I did decide to do after everything, God has been telling me to run so I did and I find out on June 12. Jared and I had an amazing opportunity to go present to elementary students about FFA, it was an awesome experience to present to people other than high school students. COLT(Chapter Officer Leadership Training), this was the first weekend in May, all the newly elected chapter officers come from around the state to attend workshops that my team put together. I did three workshops, one for Reporters, Cheyenne and I made a scrapbook for each individual out of papers bags, they turned out awesome! Then I did one on network etiquette and one on the Program of Activities(helps the students know what is going on throughout the year). All of our workshops turned out great and I am very happy with them. Then the next day was MOTHERS DAY!!! We took mom to the golf course near our house and had a fabulous lunch from salmon to shrimp to prime rib to chocolate dipped strawberries. Then the excitement of chapter banquets started, which are my favorite, because I get to see all of the students again and you get to see all of them receiving awards. The banquets I have gone to are Safford, Highland, Sunnyside, Coolidge, Red Mountian, Campo Verde, Desert Ridge, Gilbert, and Santa Rita. I did podium arrangements for University of Arizona's graduation, they turned out great and want me to continue doing them, next one is falls graduation, yay!!! I also took Jaclyn's senior pictures, we had so much fun and they turned out surprisingly good!! Yesterday was Chris' birthday, we hung out all day, I got him a promise ring that is engraved with Forever & Always in it, then some Oakley board shorts and a shirt. We went to lunch as Joe's Farm Grill and then went to the mall to hang out and then we went to Gameworks all night-what I call a boys dream :) So I decided instead of writing alot this time, I am putting more pictures up because to me they are way more exciting. Plus I am putting on a picture of Nileah, she discovered shaving cream and practically used a whole bottle of it on herself.
Jared who I love dearly at our national officer interviews. And here is a picture of me and Chris before Kendra's wedding reception!
