D-I-L-L-O-N flys to Florida!!

Dillon came to visit me in Florida and we had a dandy time!! Even though I was horribly sick the whole time we made it the best we could! I was super  excited when he got to the airport, I practically tackled him and almost made the guy next to him fall...oops. The first night we pretty much just relaxed and caught up..not to mention I could barely talk and felt horrible so I didnt want to do much. We went to Steak & Shake that night, Dillons first time there.YUM! The next morning I had to get up for work unfortunately but it all worked out because his time zones were all messed up so he slept in most of the day! That night we went to Downtown Disney to have dinner :) That night we went to bed somewhat early because we were Disney bound bright and early the next morning! What an AWFUL but WONDERFUL idea it was to do all four parks in ONE day!! Nope just awful. We started at Hollywood Studios riding Rockin' Roller Coaster{awesome}, Tower of Terror {i cried...ALOT}, Star Tours {always great}, walked the Streets of America {you have to!} and then we were off to Animal Kingdom; Went on Dinosaur [similar to Indian Jones at Disneyland] then we ate lunch because Dillon was going to bite my head off if we didn't {and he can't deny it!}, we ate at he Restaurantosauros which had delicious Gluten Free Chicken Tenders!! I was so excited! Then we were back to our park adventures! Maharajah Jungle Trek which is walking through a bunch of animals {its animal kingdom so we had to see some Wildlife!} and our last thing there was Expedition Everest {soooo fun!} off to Epcot! Had to take our picture  in front of the ball, by this time we were getting worn out but still had daylight burning! Rode Spaceship Earth, I definitely fell asleep during the ride {its a little slow and boring..I mean interesting} Went straight to work and changed, during that time Dillon rode the boat ride and then I gave him a personal tour through the greenhouses and then backstage :) Of course I am a dork and we didn't take a picture :( I hope he liked seeing where I worked! After we rode Soarin' {love the orange smell} and walked around the World {boy that was fast}, met Donald Duck, ate in Mexico and off to Magic Kingdom! At this point of the day we were both exhausted, I was feeling sick but knew we had to push on and started with the famous Dole Whip {pineapple ice cream} and Vanilla for me! Yummy!! As for the rides... Pirates of the Caribbean {Dillons favorite}, Haunted Mansion {ehhhh not so much}, Big Thunder Mountain {classic} and last but not least Under the Sea {my favorite :)}! Dont worry thats not the end we watched Celebrate the Magic and part of Wishes! It was seriously the longest day of my life! And I never ever want to do it again!!!!!!! And guess what the next morning I was so sick and couldn't get out of my bed so we watched The Glades, a tv series pretty much all day! Sunday I was back to work and sick :( So we still didnt do much that night but luckily Monday after work I was healthy enough for us to go to the beach! Yay! We went to Clearwater Beach in Tampa and it was great! Such a fabulous night relaxing, walking on the pier and beach, watching the sun go down, going into some beach shops and having the glorious McDonalds for dinner. I had such a wonderful time while he was here, I am so blessed to have a best friend like Dillon! I hope he eventually comes back because we definitely did not do half of the stuff I wanted to do with me being sick!

Momma & Daddy came to Florida!!

I was so excited that Momma and Daddy came to visit me! And even though this has to do with Florida I think it deserves its own post rather then be on the Florida page :) They actually didnt come down to see me, they came down for dads show but I will take what I can get! So I spent my weekend with my lovely momma! The first day we ran errands because I had a lot of random ones to do, not the thing I wanted to do when someone visits but what do you do. Plus we went shopping and thats always fun :) The first day I had off we got our toes done :) Ate at Tijuana Flat....the infamous place where I got EVERY Tuesday for Taco Tuesday! Then we hung out by the pool and I showed her the lovely Victoria Secret Outlet which is a dangerous place to be! The next day we went to a place called Wekiwa State Park where we went canoeing! This was an absolutely amazing place and I am really sad most of the pictures got deleted when my phone got stolen but I have some :) We went for about two hours and that was plenty for us, what a work out! We saw lots of alligators and turtles! Crazy!!!!! We also met a squirrel there that naturally posed for pictures it was hilarious, I went to take a picture of him and he toltally posed and held it, mom and I were cracking up!! The next day I had to unfortunately work BUT that night we went to Benihana's for dinner! Oh boy was it ever delicious!! I seriously did not even touch half of my food! For those of you that dont know what that is, basically its a Japanese Teppanyaki style cooking...in other words they cook your food right in front of you with silly tricks! So much good food and great company from the parents! And we also went to see Red 2 at AMC which was also a great movie! I am so blessed to have two wonderful parents that love and support me no matter what. I am so glad I got to see them even if it was for a short amount of time. I love them so much and cant wait to see them again! My family means everything and seeing them meant so much :)  But I am stilling missing that sister of mine!

The Longest Drive of my life...

The first night we drove through 3 states---Arizona---------New Mexico------Texas! What a long drove, New Mexico was very boring, we also saw a ton a repetative signs...it was ridiculous! We landed in El Paso pretty late so we grabbed a bit to eat a Chilis and headed to bed!

The next day we drove all the way to San Antonio! We got up super early so we could make it there in time to walk around and enjoy our day a little bit. We did the river walk, I drank a delicious prickly pear margarita and of course mom had beer, saw the Alamo (way cool!), saw an old theater and walked some more!! The riverwalk is really pretty but it was very humid out! I thought I was going to die..but really... And we saw the Alamo at night! Then we got to be sillies and try and lots and lots of crazy hats in these fun souvenir shops!

The next morning we were off to New Orleans to stay with Holly for two days! The drive was not too bad, we did stop at this amazing gas station called Buccees, they had the most delicious beef jerky in the whole wide world!

I was seriously so tired of driving, I wanted to escape from the car. Then we hit Lousiana! OMG WATER EVERYWHERE!! I dont know which way to look, there is green and water, so different then ARIZONA! Oh and I made mom stop the this lake we saw and take a picture with the Louisiana state thing :) I was just so excited!

We went over a lot of bridges that were like a mile long going over swamps! Finally we arrived at Holly's and could relax for a day! We did so much in New Orleans. We saw a really old house and the first fire house in Gretta, mom was very intrigued.

We also went to a farmers market yay! Then we hopped on the Ferry to go to the festivals! There are always festivals going on and its crazy!!There were three festivals going on while we were there, my favorite was definitely the tomato festival! Yes...they have a festival for tomatoes!!!!!!!!!!

There was just so much to see and so much fun to be had! Bourbon Street was oh my lanta crazy! Lets just say lots of great people watching! I also got a drink from Pat O'Briens, saw some street shows, even had beads thrown at me! Oh and of course I got ice cream, I mean why not? We did soooooooo much walking, definitely worth it though!

The next morning it was super stormy so we got a late start! We went to a cute breakfast place and had the most amazing omelettes!!! Yummy yummy!! We went to the Garden District and rode the trolley!!!!! And I saw a cute lobster ;)

Then we were off to Mississippi!! Didn't see much because it was night time! But I could tell yet again there was lots of water and green! Then through Alabama where we stopped to eat at Cracker Barrel, mom actually ended up liking it, and we enjoyed playing the little game!!
And then we made it all the way into Florida that night! We went straight to the hotel and crashed!! Next morning again bright and early; today was the day I would arrive at my new home! Yay!! We made a couple stops at state parks because I was really excited just to be in Florida! We also stopped at Pensacola Beach which was absolutely gorgeous! The state park was this really cool plantation home, it was a crazy gorgeous house and scenery so glad we stopped there!!

An old man took our picture ^^ haha

Also took a picture on some round hay bales...clearly we don't have these in Arizona!! We hit crazy rain storms and I mean Arizona has nothing on Florida when it comes to rain! A few short hours later I made it to my new home where I met my lovely three roommates!
Although I did not blog the whole way here, the pictures I have will make me always remember the amazing road trip  I took with my momma!! I am soooo glad we had the opportunity to stop and do so many things. My momma is a great sport and I wouldn't have wanted to travel any other way...of course I missed daddy and diggybut hopefully someday we can do a road trip with everyone! Now I can officially say I live in Florida!!
