DiSnEy!

Wow I can't believe I have already been here for a month and have not blogged yet! It has been a little hard without a computer but with a couple more pay checks I will buy a new mac! Disney is absolutely amazing, I seriously have nothing bad about this place at all, I probably have never been happier. Since I am doing a catch up, I will do these first couple weeks by week and then hopefully soon I can start writing more in depth! And I will write about stories about the greenhouse but my daily tasks are sometimes repetitive so I want highlight the fun facts and stories I encounter!
I am official!!

First Week!! (June 9-15)
What a crazy week it has been. Mom and I arrived on Monday and immediately started unpacking, since I did not have too much stuff we were pretty fast in the unpacking process which I have to say was pretty nice! Our house is so ADORABLE, it is absolutely perfect! And my roommates are so nice, I cant wait to get to know them! We ran to Sams club that night to get some food and bedding so I would have the basics....I mean I cant really sleep without sheets and a comforter, those are high on the important list! I got a really cute quilt comforter that I am absolutely in LOVE with!! And my bed, well lets just say its amazingly comfy! The next day we did errands ALLLLL day getting stuff ready for the apartment, I was definitely over shopping by the end of that day. But I did have gluten free pizza for the first time that day at BJ's and it was delicious! The next day I had orientation for my internship, basically oodles of paperwork, then we were free for the rest of the day so mom and I did some exploring and got me a Vera Bradley backpack that I had been wanting the whole time(it will be used all the time--I just know it!) That night I went out with Connor to a foam party, what a fun time! I was so excited that I got to go out, there were so many friendly people and I just had a blast!! The next day---Thursday---the 13th--my birthday!! We lounged around for most of the morning mostly because I stayed out so late but it was great to start a day like that! Then we went to Magiano's for my birthday lunch with the roomies :) We also made a visit to Ikea and then I took mom to the airport :(  What a great but sad day! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful mom to spend the first week with me! The next day we went to work we immediately went to costuming and started learning all our responsibilities during our internship, sooooo much to learn!

Second Week! (June 16-22)
This week is a complete blur. We did so much training, classed, computer work, etc my brain could not even process it functionally. Hours of Disney what to dos and what not to do. Along with classes towards our specific internship and safety! We also learned and started practicing our tours, I will give my first one next week! I got my main gate pass!! Yay! That means I can go into any Disney parks for free! YIPEE!! Connor and I went to Magic Kingdom and had a blast!! I also went with everyone after work to Epcot where we rode a couple rides to get familiar with the park! And I went to the Animal Kingdom with Mark for the first time EVER!! That place is awesome! The Finding Nemo musical was adorable! And the animals! If you cant tell I am just excited about everything! Oh and I keep forgetting to mention the rain...its ridiculous! Its always pouring rain!! I am learning that my roomies are not much of going outers, they love their sleep so Connor and I are getting lots of time together because I have been enjoying going out! Its so fun to meet new people. So at this point I have worked ten days straight with no break sooooo SATURDAY was our first day off with everyone! And guess what landed on that day....the wine festival I was wanting to go to! So we did!!! And it was amazing! It is the largest winery in Florida! Pretty cool, right?!? I even had the chance to squish grapes with my feet in barrels, eek! It was amazing! They also had really cute farmers market vendors and a wine tasting, yum! After we spent some time at the winery we drove to Downtown Disney for some dinner and to see Monsters University. Which by the way is a pretty funny movie! What a great day Saturday was, time for my first real day of work tomorrow!

So much to be had!

Third Week!! (June 23-29)
Sunday, the 23rd was my first big day! And I didn't even know but everyone else was on their weekend in my greenhouse so I had to open all by myself. This was definitely a learning experience, there is so much to remember. I have to leaf blow both sides, check all the plants for yellow or bad leaves, fix the signs, harvest the cucumbers to take them to the restaurant to be cut up for the tours, and then I have my daily tasks! The mornings are crazy to say the least! I also learned how to work tour desk with Amy, she taught me so well, its so much fun interacting with guests. Oh Tour Desk..I guess I should explain. Once a week each of the interns has a half day at tour desk, this is where people sign up for tours and we help guide them in the right direction for everything, we mostly talking to people about Soarin'(the ride which is next to us) or the tour. We get so many questions very random questions its kinda shocking. Then I had my first tour! It went so smooth, I was so happy and everyone said it was awesome! I am so glad that I get to share my passion for agriculture with other people. It is literally the best thing in the whole wide world. They were shocked it was my first tour which I guess is a great thing! Its only my first day and it just keeps getting better! The next day was the same process with some extra stuff in the greenhouse and no tour desk. I have been learning so much it is incredible. The knowledge I have already gained is absolutely incredible. Lets see what else happened this week....I saw the show at Epcot, that was truly great!! My roommates are amazing! I just LOVE them! And I love my new family at work! Oh and Taco Tuesday are great, I will definitely look forward to Tuesdays every week. And Wednesday is movie night! I love starting traditions with everyone, I know I am going to love this place for all 6 months...I dont know if I will ever want to leave! And all my first tours went fantabulous!! I just love my job. It doesnt even feel like work. Now for my first real weekend, on Thursday we went to the Macaroni Grill for dinner. Yummy! Then I headed out to a Paint Party...so much fun! Exactly what it sounds like paint in all directions...lots of sweat and paint..everywhere! Friday we went to Hollywood Studios and guess what?! It rained all day! It was a great day with the girls! And that was my first time! Its pretty cool, we rode some pretty awesome rides but a lot of the shows were cancelled due to the weather :( But we did see the Beauty and the Beast musical. So adorable. I am just in LOVE with this place.
Illuminations!

And Magic Kingdom the same night!

Hey Look what we can do!
That night I went out to paint party...

Fourth Week! (June 30-July 6)
I cannot believe I have already been here for a month! How crazy is that?!? Can you believe it? I am getting used to opening by myself. I am starting to have a personal vendetta with the sweet potato vines. Since our greenhouse is for show, it always has to be as clean as possible, in the morning I leaf blow to get rid of all the debris on the ground, well those darn suckers love to drop their leaves all day!!! Cucumbers in boxes are heavy. My legs are going to be so fit after this internship with the amount of stairs I climb. I hate white flies. I am a professional algae scrubber. I am a stringer. My life is harvesting, stringing, and scrubbing. If your partner squirts you with the hose its refreshing, they apologize anyways to be nice but really they are doing you a favor. I have never sweat so much in my life. At the end of the day I cant tell the difference between sweat and water. Yes it's that bad. I am allergic to everything in the greenhouse...well pretty much. Tomato trees are awesome. I wear sleeves and gloves all the time which equals more sweat, fun right?! My clothes are always dirty, but its great because I never have to decide what to wear! Everything from the greenhouse is delicious! We have lots of classes learning about pruning, biotechnology, integrated pest management, irrigation; they are great! I saw the Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular this week, they were AMAZING....thats an understatement! I am getting spoiled. Fireworks for the rest of my life are never going to be as good. Then we went to real 4th of July Fireworks in a town called Celebration on the 4th! Celebration is literally the perfect little town, its like an All-American town you would see in the movies, its crazy cool! That was fun, a bunch of people from my internship went and it was great! They had a great show, of course not as good as Disney but pretty good. I would have to say East Coast KILLS West coast in fireworks! Beach! I love the Beach! The next day we headed to the beach for fun. It was sooooo relaxing and wonderful. Except the part where my legs got sunburnt. I am a lobster. So painful. Which immediately made me decide not to go out :( And the next day was an absolutely lazy day because nobody could move! Although at the end of the day I was feeling really antsie so Jessica and I decided to go to Animal Kingdom. Well apparently they close at 7. And we got there at 6:30 wah. We then decided to go to the boardwalk which was really pretty but it also runs into Epcot. So we went to Epcot and met Mary Poppins, Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto! Went to Club Cool, tasted sodas from around the world! Visited work...yes we are that lame! Rode some great rides! Saw a beautiful sunset! What a wonderful way to end a great weekend!

I get to bring home produce....its {AWESOME}

4th of July Fireworks were absolutely amazing!!

Week 5 (July 7-13)
Another great week! We were super busy harvesting this week! Lots of cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants, and bell peppers! So many eggplants I brought home about 15 to make eggplant chips! Those darn sweet potato trees are still driving me nuts! And I made a new friend. His name is Kevin. I love the story of Kevin and I so that is going to be the highlight of this week. One beautiful morning on our way to work there was music playing, well actually music is playing every morning and its always Beauty and the Beast but thats besides the point so anyways one morning on my way to work I decided I was going to be a ballerina and twirl and jump just like one....I am silly..but you already know that. So I told Jessica and Erin to watch for anybody and let me know if there was someone coming because I am always caught doing silly faces, dances, jigs, etc. So I proceeded to dance beautifully and gracefully...or so I would like to think. All of a sudden from across the huge pond, I mean about a football field awayish, I hear clapping, I immediately look over and there is this guy clapping. I get really embarrassed hide my face and stop dancing, my thoughts I am never going to see him again. Well that is definitely not the case. That afternoon walking back to our cars in the parking lot, walking next to a guy he goes "It was you, you are the girl!" and I looked at him with a puzzled face. Then he replies "You were the girl dancing through Epcot on the way to work" Yup that was me. Great now he knows who I am. Well it gets better, Kevin is one of the guys that actually works the boat ride that goes through the greenhouse so guess what?! I see him EVERY day! He is hilarious though, every time I see him now I make it a point to say hi and do a jig! And when I don't see him he starts dancing and then I know its Kevin. We now have a friendship over my crazy ballerina moves. Long Story but he is great and literally made my week. Another cute story. On my tours I ask people what the five things a plant needs to survive, the normal anwsers are water, nutrients, air, support, and sun! But Alex this precious little boy added one for me so now there is six things a plant needs and that is LOVE! How precious is that?!? I also swam with the sturgeon this week! How cool is that??! The Aqua kids needed help cleaning and I wasn't doing anything so I went as fast as I could, put my waders on and hopped in the tank!! It was sooo awesome, sturgeon are very friendly fish! Lets see this week I also met Snow White, Donald and Alice, got their signatures and pictures! And I started working on completing my bucket list, which includes eating a Mickey's Premium Bar...yes they are worth the money..yes they are delicious...and yes I will be eating them again! I also started taking my Kodak pictures. Everywhere in all the parks there are Kodak photo spots, my goal is to take a picture at every single one!

Week 6 (July 14-20)
This week we had a cucumber crop pull!!! This was the first one I have done on island side meaning early morning!! Very early morning!Crop pulls we have to throw a bridge over the canal so we obviously have to do this before the boat ride starts, it calls for early mornings and tired afternoons! We also harvested our Mickey Cucumbers.....so very cute! Although for the amount of work we put into them...definitely not worth it. We also pulled some Vertigro pots down from island side and since I am so tall I am the person in the front to catch them coming down, well one decided it was going to shower me with perlite...that was a lovely surprise as well the hook hit me on the head which had a ton of oil on it putting oil in my hair, it was a fantastic surprise to get out of my hair! Now besides work I went to a super fun Foam Party with Connor! I saw Kyle there who is one of Courtneys friends that I met at Emerald Ball! Such a great night but since I didn't go to bed till 4, it was a rough work day! And the best part of the week mom and dad came to visit!!!! And if you want to read about their visit go here :)

Week 7 (July21-27)
Very busy week! Lots of little tasks to get done this week including harvesting chives, bush beans, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, lettuce, bell peppers, and I am sure there was plenty more that we harvested! We had a cast picnic this week! So much fun we got to go and eat FREE lunch! AND meet Mickey and Minnie in their picnic costumes and Goofy in his Chef costume. I consumed a lot of food and a bunch of Mickeys Premium Bars....sorry not sorry..they are just too amazing!! It also absolutely poured rain today good thing we got a ride from Bill our manager otherwise we would have been absolutely drenched! Now the rest of the day we really didnt focus because who could after such a fun afternoon! Now for the great weekend; Thursday night we had Girls Night where we made Pizza and watched Pitch Perfect (my new favorite movie) and after that I went out with Danielle to Cowboys which is a "country" bar but my opinion {it sucked!} no one two steps here! Drives me nuts!! Then Friday we headed to Ginnie Springs to go tubing down the river, such a fun relaxing day!! I am really liking all the outdoors things here. Oh and don't worry we didn't see any alligators while tubing {phew} The drive was a lot longer then we expected but it was definitely still worth it!! We also met Rachael brother Will because they live close to the river :) For the BEST part of the week Tour de Turtles!!!!!!!!! Basically I had to get up at 4am{ouch} and ride a van to Vero Beach. When we got there we were set up with booths to tell guests about turtles and then the best part was when they released the two HUGE turtles back into the ocean! These two race throughout the year for two different causes, one was for lighting on the beaches and the other one was for pollution. Very awesome experience! We even met the CEO of WDW!

Week 8 (July 28- Aug 3)
This week we pulled the tomato tree, kind of a big deal! So all three of us{as in my partners-Alicia, Rachael & I} all cut the tomato tree at the same time! The rest of the week was kind of a blur because I was too distracted by the fact that my best friend was visiting :) Which comes to.....Dillon was in Florida!!  If you want to read about our adventures go here and if you dont you can continue reading :)

Composting...we do this a lot

Week 9 (Aug 4-10)
This week was absolutely crazy! We had huge projects all week! And we pulled the dragon fruit and the pineapples! The dragon fruit is only pulled every 6 years and we had the chance to do it! Although I am not sure how much of an honor it was, it was a very loooooonnnnnngggggg tiring day with lots of owies. Basically its a huge cactus with lots of pokies, beautiful fruit infested with cockroaches  {gross} Lets just say it took a lot of arm power to get those things out and I was sweating in more places then I knew was possible {gross right?!?} Pulling the pineapples was also great fun, if you like to be stabbed on your legs, arms, and anything else that might be poked in the process of shoveling the huge plant out of the ground {yes pineapples grow on the ground} Then pulling up the drip tape in the sand, relaying the drip tape by digging in the sand, then replant the plants. Needless to say all of us were beat. We also had a class about the history of the Land which was actually interesting and way cool to see what has been done in the past!!! Just a hint of information before we move on, The Land and the greenhouses were the 1st thing built because everything had to be ready for the boat ride and obviously you cant have a ton of baby plants {pretty cool right} Oh and originally apparently our ride was suppose to be a hot air balloon ride, that definitely would have been nice then we wouldn't have to walk the catwalk to carry heavy boxes or plants over and we would easily have access to the whole greenhouse but since that didnt happen oh well, the boat ride is still pretty cool :) Lets see this weekend I went on a beauiful run because my phone was stolen so I had to run my upsetness out. I dont really remember what else happened this weekend nor do I want to remember but I do know that things happen for a reason and thank God I am okay and alive.

Week 10 (Aug 11-17)
Its going to be a great week! Thats what I kept telling myself! And let me tell you my first tour of the week was absolutely great, I had two little girls name Isis and Ava and they were sooooo adorable! I had such a blast on this tour, we made everything fun as we opened the doors to the different greenhouses I made magical sounds, we of course released lady bugs of we names them Bubbles and Lala {clearly great names for lady bugs}and I tried to make the tour fun for them. Isis gave me her name tag so I would always remember her, its still in my locker! It was a tour I needed to make this week better :) We had lots of crop pulls this week including Eggplant, Cucumbers, and Vertigros meaning early morning and a long day! Cant believe we survived another one! AND this was the last week of NFT deep cleaning! Hooray!!Basically we harvest our lettuce tables every week about 450 heads of lettuce a week and they are in trays...well the past interns have not been good about scrubbing them so we have been deep scrubbing them every table when we do a harvest meaning lots of arm work {check out my new biceps} We did get popcorn randomly on our way to work this week...nothing like eating popcorn at 7am! Now for the fun stuff of the week! Jessica, Erin, and I have been working on meeting lots of characters and boy did we do good! We met seven in one day-Pooh, Tigger, Aurora, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Belle!!We went to Typhoon Lagoon for the first time and it was an absolute blast!! I even swam with the sharks, I think thats a one time thing..A) The water was freezing B) I feel claustrophobic in those stupid masks C) The whole idea of swimming with sharks..ya not my thing. But they have some other super fun slides that we did...and I had a gluten free hot dog {yummy} We also went to Blizzard Beach! What a fun water park...it has a ski lift! And we met goofy in his swim trunks...now that was hilarious!! Then I got to see Tricia {yay} I absolutely missed her! So glad she is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Before the Cucumbers came crashing down!

Week 11 (Aug 18-24)
Lets see this week was pretty normal except we had two classes this week one about beneficial insects and then one of the University of Florida extension agents. In the beneficial insects class we talking about the different types of beneficials used in the greenhouses and then we had the chance to look under the microscopes at some of them, soooo cool {nerd. i know} Then the extension agent talked about different opportunites in Florida, if I were interested in extension this would be a great opportunity but I am pretty sure that is one thing I don't want to do. Other than that it was a pretty basic week until the weekend  except I did go out one night to Senor Frogs and met some really sweet girls! :) Friday I went to Magic Kingdom and spent some time with Tricia and her roommate Kacie! And this huge storm came in to MK, awesome picture! I met a friend who wakeboards so guess what this girl did this weekend?! {wakeboard!} It was so amazing to be on the boat again! Friday night and Saturday were spent on the boat :) Saturday we ran out of gas..go figure so we had to swim the boat all the way in..guess who did it?!? Three of us girls....while the lazy boys sat on the boat. And Travis is way good at wakeboarding so its really cool to watch! Maybe someday I won't be a chicken and I will try a trick or two....{probably not though} All of his friends are way cool too! Then Saturday night I babysat Serenity, we had a great time watching Scooby Doo and playing with puzzles.

After a long day on the boat!

Week 12 (Aug 25-31)
This week was pretty calm, we didn't have much to do it was kind of like the calm before the storm. The only thing we pulled out was the Bell Pepper Trees, thank goodness! They were looking a little rough! Oh and I stabbed myself in the eye with bamboo, that was great..but I am ok. We planted Yard Long Beans a couple weeks ago and they are starting to get bean on them which is super exciting!!!! Friday I went to Magic Kingdom with Connor, Rachael, and Will super early! Talk about AWESOME! We did all of the big rides in less then two hours, we didn't wait longer then 20 minutes for anything! After lunch we headed to Hollywood Studios to meet up with Amy and Alyssa where we did all the big rides there and met lots of characters! What a fabulous day!! That night I headed to Travis, we hung out with Heather and Tim all night drinking and talking, so fun to have people with similar interest! Saturday, we woke up early went to a little podunk breakfast place and then hung out on the porch for a bit {beautiful} Then of course went out on the boat and met some more people because they were having a  lake party! Jumped off the roof, watched people wakeboard, paddle boarded {sooo cool} and hung out! Definitely a great day! We did get stuck in a huge storm and I had to stay later then expected but it was still way fun!

Look the beans are growing!!!!!

Week 13 (Sept 1-7)
This week has been crazy again! Every other week it seems like we have a ridiculous amount of work with crop pulls and other random work. When it rains it pours! This week we had four crop pulls, we came in early on Wednesday to do a Luffa, Dwarf Pepper and Sweet Potato crop pull in one day! Pretty crazy how much we finished that day, we did all the crop pulls, cleaned the trellis' and area, restrung the trellis and replanted new crops. That is pretty unusual for us to get that much done just because its well ALOT of work!!I went out to dinner with Alena to celebrate her birthday at this Mexican restaurant {so good!}We got free shots of tequila which were surprisingly delicious!! My weekend was wonderful, Friday I sat at home all day and did my blog to finally catch up since I was so behind! But that night I went out to dinner with Tricia, her new boy {eek}, and some of their friends! We had a great time and I really LOVE {love} her new boyfriend; he is so great! Saturday I decided to do a me day and go to Animal Kingdom really early and just do what I wanted and mostly meet characters so I got there right when they opened and met lots of great characters! Then I went to the Lion King show {terrific}, went to Rafikis Island [or whatever it may be called], and then head the best magical moment of my LIFE! So I was waiting in line to meet Goofy and Pluto {clearly I have met them before} but I want pictures in there different outfits {nerdy I know} When I get up to them they start flirting with me and kissing my hand and being all cute, at the end Goofy points to this guy in the line next and basically was asking if he was mine I replied nope, he looked at my hand {no ring} and then he pointed to the photograper that he was ready to go. Goofy slung my backpack around his shoulder, grabbed my arm so we were arm and arm and Pluto did as well and guess what?!? I walked half way across the park with them, I was so giggly inside and couldn't help myself! After that happened I pretty much determined that was one of the best moments I will ever have at Disney so I wanted to see the parade and be done for the day! I grabbed some coffee and sat in a spot to wait for the parade, while I was sitting I talked to a family from England who loved coming to Florida they had been about 10 times, I told them they needed to get out and experience the rest of the US, they just laughed. I love having great conversations with random people in the parks, its always interesting to see where people come from. Oh and I forgot to mention a family from Portugal would be my guess randomly asked me to take a picture with them because of my blonde hair {now thats funny} Back to the parade, it was pretty good not bad for animal kingdom! And then I rushed to my car because it was absolutely dumping rain! That afternoon was Kera and Brians wedding, I am so lucky to have been able to watch it on Facetime with the technology these days its astonishing how blessed we are to use something like that to not miss an important moment. I definitely cried my eyes out though, probably the hardest thing I have ever done in my entire life. Watching your whole family laugh and enjoy each others company while you are stuck in another state so far away. I miss my family more than anything in the whole world. Since that was so rough I decided I deserved a night out :) So I went out with Tricias roommates, Kaycie and Kaitlyn who are both great! Lots of fun! And thats that week!!

 Before we ripped it down!

We had to use "machetes" and huge hedge shears because it was so tangled!!
Before we took the sweet potatoes down!
Harvesting sweet potatoes!
Week 14 (Sept 8-14)
This week was pretty uneventful compared to the last week work wise! We did a cucumber pull and tomato tree pull {sad Mr. tree} which went as good as it possibly can, still not a fan of those early mornings! We did have a really awesome class on Plant Pathology where I learned a ton and definitely took a lot away that I can use when {if} I become a teacher. The one exciting thing I did this week was a special tour, I had a group of students from International Visitor Leadership Program that were collected from all around the world and traveling to learn about Ecotourism. I was fortunate enough to give this tour and is was AWESOME!!! It lasted two hours but I was very happy with how everything turned out and everything I had the chance to talk to them about :) A very proud moment for me! Now for the weekend, Friday I went early to Magic Kingdom to meet some more characters {Marie, Tinkerbell & her friend, Cinderella Mice, Ariel} and then went to Hollywood Studios for Friday the 13th! Oh my lanta that was that craziest most overwhelming event of my life! It was so cool to see but man almighty was it busy. People on people on people. Crazy {Crazy} Crazy.  BUT they did have a fantastic DJ and a superb Firework show!! Saturday Rachael and I went to Cocoa Beach, best decision EVER! {Gorgeous} And that night we went downtown for a girls night at BBQ Bar {so great}

Week 15 (Sept 15-21)
This week has also been pretty simple, no crop pulls {thank goodness} just lots of work to maintain the greenhouse! Had a couple really good tours, had two little girls on one of my tours and they were just so excited about those lady bugs you would have thought I gave them a million dollars! I even got to take a picture with them :) They had a lettuce emergency at the land so we had to rescue one of the chefs so they made us the most delicious dinner. We had another chef ask for the spiciest peppers we grew, for some reason we thought it would be a good idea for us to taste test them {horrible idea} so much fire in my mouth! Another class this week about medical and fire safety! Wanna know the best part?! We received plastic fire fighter helmets AND we had the opportunity to use a fire extinguisher {need I say more??}  There was also a picnic for us this week at Mickeys Retreat, didnt get much work done but I got two homemade gluten free sandwiches and they were the best thing I had ever had in my life soooooo good!!!!  This weekend Jordan and Bailee came to visit!! You can read about their visit here!

Week 16 (Sept 22-28)
Another week has gone by  and I cant believe it is already the end of September pretty crazy how fast this 6 months is going by. At work this week there is nothing too exciting to report about, just the normal maintenance and harvesting that I have been doing. Our baby tomato tree is getting big and so are the eggplants so we have been training our babies to grow as trees :) We did help in the tropics greenhouse on a huge crop pull of papyrus and arrowhead plant but other than that nothing significant! But in other news Connor and I went to Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party which was great fun! We took lots of pictures with characters{The Seven Dwarfs, Donald & Daisy, Mickey & Minnie, Tarzan &; Terk, Jasmine & Genie}, trick or treated, dressed up, saw Hallowishes, and the BEST part was the amazing parade! I feel so blessed to have Connor here, I am so lucky we have each other to do so much fun stuff with! Another fun things I got to do this weekend is dive in the aquarium at Epcot, it is the second largest tank in the United States. It holds 3 million gallons of water, houses over 2400 living organisms with 65 different species. They said you can fit the Epcot ball into the tank and still have room to drive a car around it! Pretty crazy!! It was super amazing to get to do it, definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity. I will have to say I probably will never get dive certified I had a really hard time with the respirator and I dont know if its from making me feel claustrophobic or because I am having a rough weekend with my allergies.
